  • •4 boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • •1/3 cup soy sauce
  • •3 tbsp honey
  • •2 tbsp mirin
  • •2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • •1 tbsp brown sugar
  • •2 garlic cloves, minced
  • •1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • •1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • •1 tsp sesame seeds
  • •2 green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. 1In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, mirin, rice vinegar, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger to make the teriyaki sauce.
  2. 2Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. 3Add chicken thighs, cooking 5-6 minutes per side until browned and cooked through.
  4. 4Pour teriyaki sauce over the chicken and reduce heat to medium-low.
  5. 5Simmer the chicken in the sauce for 5 minutes, turning to coat evenly, until sauce thickens.
  6. 6Sprinkle sesame seeds and sliced green onions on top before serving.
